Creating
Partnerships
We believe in building partnerships with entities such as the Chamber of Commerce, the Public Libraries, the community colleges, school districts, corporations and other City Departments, such as Parks and Recreations and Health and Human Services Agencies. At DCET we believe strongly in linking parents helping educators and educators helping parents, which results in great effectiveness in the education of minority students. With the support of the private sector and other partnerships joining directly we benefit the education of Hispanic youth and their families, which also benefits the community such as future employers.
Different Links Chaining our Communities is the slogan of our Yearly Recognition Reception at the end of the year where we, not only value the efforts of our students in becoming productive and better members of society, but also recognize our partners and supporters.
The first Saturday of December we celebrate:
Advancement, Progress, Results and Success!

We are having an excellent opportunity in the New Year to work with real champions of our very own community. DCET/Believe in Yourself, Inc. will provide many hours of teaching to our community and we are excited to have the opportunity to team up with this corporation in offering Literacy Training and English as a Second Language and personal and business development workshops at our Family Learning Center “La Escuelita”
